Mini Playlist – Punk Goes Pop | EVERSILENT

When most musicians (myself included) think of covering a song, they normally think of doing an acoustic version of said song. Not punk bands. As everybody knows, I love punk music, and I love punk bands even more when they do punk covers of pop songs. I’m not completely opposed to pop normally, but punk goes pop is genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever heard. So today I present to you; my ‘Punk Goes Pop’ mini playlist:

Somebody That I Used To Know – Mayday Parade (Gotye)

Grenade – Memphis May Fire (Bruno Mars)

Just The Way You Are – Pierce The Veil (Bruno Mars)

Forget You – Sleeping With Sirens (Cee Lo Green)

In My Head – Mayday Parade (Jason Derulo)

Need You Now – Sparks The Rescue (Lady Antebellum)

Toxic – A Static Lullaby (Britney Spears)

When I Grow Up – Mayday Parade (The Pussycat Dolls)

Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) – Woe, Is Me (Katy Perry)

Call Me Maybe – Upon This Dawning (Carly Rae Jepsen)

(yeah I really like Mayday Parade lol)
